100 Reasons to Believe in the Church’s Future - Rev. Spellers

The Rev. Canon Stephanie Spellers, SIM board member, former canon to Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and co-developer of the Episcopal Church’s Becoming Beloved Community initiative, shares her reasons for supporting SIM. “About 100 of them,” she says, in the cohort of 100 Becoming Beloved Community of scholars passionately committed to God’s love and justice, or “100 reasons to be excited for the church’s future.” Canon Spellers recently reviewed the current issue of SIM's periodical, The SIMinarian as “the most powerful collection of writings on beloved community that she has seen in a decade.”
